By faith, we see the world called into existence by God’s word, what we see created by what we don’t see.
Although we live in this world, we can decide not to live by it’s beliefs and limitations. We have substantial evidence in God’s word that we can alter what seems to be the normal world order by our words, calling forth things as though they were, light out of darkness, life from death and possibilities out of impossibilities.
As believers, we are to live consistently in the reality of God’s word. The word is our life, we are what it says we are, we have what it says we have, we can do what it says we can.
Let’s see a few things the World says and what the Word says:
On Strength
The world says: You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice
The word says: You don’t know how strong you’re until you know who lives in you. 2 Cor 12:9, 1John 4:4
God-fidence vs Self-confidence
The world says: You got this!
The word says: God got this! Isaiah 41:10
On Challenges
The world says: Smile, you don’t own all the problems in the world
The word says: Smile, you don’t own any problem in the world. 1 Peter 5:7, Psalm 55:22
On Anxiety
The world says: I cannot come and go and kill myself
The word says: Be careful for nothing; BUT in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. Philippians 4:6
On New Beginnings
The world says: There is nothing that can be done about it.
The word says: I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. Isaiah 43:19
On Favour
